Implementing microcomputer systems in the public organization

Microcomputers are rapidly becoming a pervasive technology in public organizations. Unfortunately, many public managers are not prepared to deal successfully with the management and policy problems that accompany the introduction of microcomputer systems.

Specifically the essay covers the use of micros in the organizational environment, planning for systems implementation, providing training and support, dealing with human factors, and effectiveuse of microcomputing technology as a managerial tool.
