On the Verification System of the Chemical Weapons Convention

By introducing the main contents of the Chemical Weapons Convention, this article studies in detail various verification procedures and rules of the Convention, including the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons(OPCW), general verification procedures, the challenge inspection and related compliance measures. While containing the most strict and effective rules for international verification system of any international agreement thus far, the Chemical Weapons Convention has also its shortcomings and problems.
