地理二元经济结构是我国经济的一个明显表征,也是实施西部大开发战略中必须认真对待和科学解决的问题。东西部地区经济发展失衡,不仅严重阻碍了我国整个国民经济的和谐发展,还易于引发甚至加剧各种矛盾,而且这也与共同富裕的社会主义目标相违背。可以说,地理二元经济结构问题能否解决,直接关乎我国全面建设小康社会和构建社会主义和谐社会目标能否顺利实现。
