| 摘 要： | 中国传统文化自古以来就强调整体,崇尚和谐统一,把和谐视为最高价值原则,这一原则对我国古代居住环境的规划和建设产生了重要影响.中国古代的和谐思想,对我们今天进行的城市居住环境规划,仍有重要的借鉴意义.比照桂林提出几点参考意见.

| Abstract: | Chinese traditional culture emphasized integration and harmony. It regarded harmony as the most valuable principle which had deep influence on the planning and construction of living environment in ancient China. The thought of harmony also provided important references to the city planning of living environment today. Take Guilin as example, the article puts forward some suggestions. |
