柬埔寨高等教育发展历程及面临的问题

由于诸多历史原因，柬埔寨的高等教育在20世纪70年代仍相当滞后于许多发展中国家，到80年代才得以恢复。近10年来，在自身努力和国际社会的援助下，柬埔寨的教育有了长足的发展。柬埔寨政府启动了若干规范性改革措施，以指导蓬勃发展的高等教育走向更加规范的管理，使之更好地服务于国家的需要。然而，均等的受教育机会、提高教育质量、使专业设置与市场需求相结合、提高管理水平、投入更多的经费仍然是柬埔寨高等教育所面临的重大问题。

Cambodian Higher Education: Development and Problems

Because of many historical reasons, Cambodian higher education was very much lagged behind in the 1970s and recovered in the 1980s. With self efforts and support from the international society, Cambodian higher education has developed quickly in recent 10 years. The government of the Kingdom initiated numerous reform measures to guide steady, orderly and rapid development of its higher education. But Cambodian higher education is still facing such serious problems as equal access to higher education,quality improvement,coordination of curriculum design and market needs, managerial skills enhancement, and financial investment increase, etc.
