Determination of priority of claims and the payment order: the final stage of admiralty proceedings in H.K.

Focused on the important procedural issue of determining the priority of admiralty claims, this paper points out that the problem is settled in Hong Kong mainly by the court in accordance with U.K. law rather than by the local ordinance and states the detailed rules of ranking and their exceptions as well as the issue of making the order for the money to be paid out to the person entitled thereto.
