Abstract: | Isoelectric focusing of extracts from diluted or aged bloodstains may be more successfully accomplished with larger sample volumes applied to the gel. A technique is described using teflon tubing to apply larger sample volumes (up to 100 μl) to isoelectric focusing (IEF) gels. This method is reproducible and easy to perform. |
