Research on the False Confession in the Process of Investigation

The trial process is to overcome the expected resistance that suspects are considered guilty and to obtain legal confession. Therefore, the purpose of interrogation is to create and increase the anxiety and despair of the suspects, reduce its denial and silence and obtain confessions. In order to achieve these goals, the investigators take tactics, including the isolation of the suspect, and then use positive or negative incentives. This paper tries to explain how the suspects will make a decision in a specific situation, and describes the existence of false statements and external factors, and in what kind of situation will the innocent people be put in danger.
