信息的定义及哲学本质

21世纪是信息科学蓬勃发展的时期,但人们对信息及其本质还存在不同认识,现有的信息定义均有不足之处。信息的哲学本质可以从四个层面进行分析:信息是客观实在的,信息是一切物质都具有的显示物质存在方式和状态的客观属性,信息是物质间接存在性的标志,信息是物质自身显示自身的属性。

The Definitions of "Information" and its Philosophical Nature

21stcentury sees informatics thriving vigorously, but there exist different understandings about the definitions and nature of information. All the existing definitions about information are not good enough. The authors of this paper hold that the philosophical nature of information can be interpreted from the following four aspects: 1. Information is an objective reality. 2. It is an objective attribute, which reveals the way and status of existence of a substance. 3. It is an indicator of the indirect existence of a substance. 4. It is a self-attribute that a substance reveals.
