Abstract: | Environmental lawyers usually know little about bankruptcy law, and vice versa. This is unfortunate, because these competing legal regimes are both extremely detailed and have different goals. Thus when bankruptcy and environmental law do meet, it often results in a collision. This article examines the major issues where environmental and bankruptcy meet each other, and provides guidance to the environmental professional on how to navigate successfully in the world of bankruptcy law. |
