On the Prevailing Theories of Trade Secret Protection in the Knowledge and Economic Era: Theory of Secret Relation and Theory of Property Right

In exploring the formation and development of trade secret protection system, many experts and judges at home and abroad have put forward many theories concerning the regulation of trade secrets, which has played significant role in establishing and improving the contemporary trade secret protection systems. However, of the many theories, "theory of property right" and "theory of secret relation" have been mostly influential to the formation of the trade secret legal system of the western countries. To probe into the theory of secret relation and the formation and development of the theory of property right will be helpful to understand the trade secret protection system of Britain, the United States, and other countries.
