全球化是一个影响广泛而深远的不可逆过程.在这一过程中,各国的经济、政治及文化相互融合、相互作用,使全球变成一个互相依赖、互相关联的整体.全球化对我国男女两性工作和生活的影响需要跨学科的深入分析.本文认为,生产、投资、服务及公共部门的国际化、市场化及私有化是全球化的基本特征.国际化、市场化及私有化过程给我国男女两性的工作和生活带来了重要影响.因此,探讨我国现阶段男女不平等的性质、特点及原因不能忽视全球化的国际背景和深刻影响.

Globalization: Its Impact on Our Work and Life --Concurrently on the Cause, Nature and Characteristic of Gender Inequality in Present-Day China

Globalization is an irreversible process with a wide-ranging and far-reaching influence, in which the economy, politics and culture of nations fuse with and act on each other, finally turning the globe into a mutually dependent and mutually connected whole. It is, therefore, necessary to make a penetrating, transdisciplinary analysis of globalization's impact on the work and life of both men and women in China. This paper holds that the internationalization, marketization and privatization of production, investment, service and public sectors are the basic characteristics of globalization, and that the process of internationalization, marketization and privatization has brought in its wake significant influence on the work and life of both men and women in China. For this reason, we must not overlook the international background and profound influence of globalization while probing the cause, nature and characteristic of gender inequality in present-day China.
