An Evaluation of Polygraph Accuracy in Deception Tests and the Polygraph Development Trend

Since the advent of the polygraph 100 years ago,it has been accepted by over 50 countries,but questioning over its reliability never ceases.Based on an assessment of studies on CQT and CIT in recent years,the paper argues that the present deception detection technology requires very experienced testers,and will continue to be questioned over its psychological basis.Meanwhile,once the test is conducted strictly according to the testing standards,its accuracy can still be guaranteed.
