中国公民社会的兴起与应对

公民社会是指围绕共同的利益、目的和价值上的非强制性的集体行为。我国的公民社会随着改革开放的进程逐步孕育、发展、壮大。特别是进入新时期新阶段以来,我国公民社会迅速崛起,对经济、政治、文化、社会生活等方方面面产生了日益重大的影响。一方面,公民社会的发展,有助于确认个人的价值和公民的社会地位,推动中国的社会转型以及实现社会自治;但另一方面,公民社会的兴起,也给中国社会发展、党的执政建设等多个方面带来了前所未有的挑战。如何正确认识和积极应对公民社会在中国的兴起和发展,已成为当代中国现代化建设中的一个重大现实课题。

Civil Society of China: Rise and Solutions

Civil society refers to the unforced collective behavior to advance common interests,purposes and values.China’s civil society has been developing along its reform and opening-up.The impact of China’s rapidly rising civil society in the new era on China’s economy,politics,culture and social life has been growing stronger.On the one hand,civil society can help citizens establish their values and social status,thus realizing social self-governance;on the other hand,it poses many challenges to China’s development and the leadership of the CPC.It is of special significance in our modernization drive to understand and deal with the rise of civil society in China.
