Analysis of the Characteristics of the Building Decrees of Qing Dynasty

Architecture of Qing Dynasty was built by Qing Government primarily.Qing Government participated the whole activity of building,which also manifested the bureaucrat rank characteristic of the ritual has its grade.The scale of the building matched the owner’s political status.The higher of political status the owner had,the bigger the scale was.In order to avoid tiring the people and squandering resources form abusing administrative power,Qing Government enacted building decrees which emphasized to protect its people and resources.In addition,the building decrees of Qing Dynasty include many technical legal standards which guaranteed the procedure and quality of buildings,and also provided scientific basis for surveillance and inspection.
