Institution:Francis T. Cullen is Distinguished Research Professor of Criminal Justice and Sociology at the University of Cincinnati. His most recent works include Combating Corporate Crime: Local Prosecutors at Work, Criminological Theory: Context and Consequences;, and Criminological Theory: Past to Present—Essential Readings. His current research focuses on the impact of social support on crime, the measurement of sexual victimization, and rehabilitation as a correctional policy. He is President Elect of the American Society of Criminology and a Past President of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Jody L. Sundt is an Assistant Professor of Administration of Justice in the Center for the Study of Crime, Delinquency, and Corrections at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. This Fall, she will be joining the Department of Criminal Justice at Indiana University. She has published in the areas of correctional policy, religion in prison, offender change, public attitudes toward punishment, and white collar crime. Dr. Sundt's work has appeared in journals such as Justice Quarterly, Crime and Delinquency, Criminal Justice and Behavior, Journal of Criminal Justice, The Prison Journal;, and The Journal of Offender Rehabilitation. Her current research focuses on the occupational experiences of correctional officers, the effectiveness of supermaximum security prisons, and religious coping and attribution
