19世纪以来,一批来华德国人将他们视域中的中国用文字记录下来。依据史料和文本分析可知,近代来华德国人对中国的认识,一方面呈现出中国传统的稳定性和持久性特征,另一方面则在小范围内建构了在欧洲现代观念影响下特殊的现代中国。近代来华德国人对中国的认知是一定时空和历史语境的产物,在华亲历时代巨变的德国人对中国的认识更为深刻立体,处于传统和现代之间的近代中国呈现出特殊的时代性特征。

Between Tradition and Modernity:Views on China of Germans Coming to China in Modern Times

Since the 19th century some Germans have come to China and made a record of China from their own vision.According to the historical data and text analysis,their concept of China shows on the one hand,the stability and persistence characteristics of the traditional China,on the other hand,it constructs a special“modern”China under the influence of modern European concepts on a small scale.The concept of China of Germans coming to China in modern times is a special product of time,space and historical context.Germans who have personally experienced the dramatically changed China could have a deeper and more stereoscopic understanding of China.The modern China,where“tradition”and“modernity”coexist,presented special characteristics of the era.
