Responsible Government: Objective of Administrative Reform in China

Constructing modern responsible government is the objective of China administrative reform in the present age. Enforcing constitution, constructing socialistic political civilization, and raising government managerial capability decide this goal. At the same time, realizing responsible government is the result of answering international competition and global administrative reform. On the basis of above-mentioned analysis, in order to establish responsible government, the paper puts forward several main routes and suggestions: to build up responsible administration idea, improve accountability legislation, strengthen supervision and accountability-investigating mechanism, and innovate citizen-oriented management.
