| Abstract: | College English listening is a difficult point in English studying.Some listening skills should be mastered in listening training.Identifying sound and shorthand are two major skills in listening comprehension. From several years' teaching experience and practice,the author tries to analyze the two important skills from the angle of lexicology and phonetics to cultivate the students' ability to do listening practice independently. |
