向警予女子教育思想评析

向警予的女子教育思想彻底否定了以培养贤母良妻为目标的迎合宗法社会需要的封建主义附属品妇女教育观;同时超越了维新派“兴国智民”和“相夫教子”相结合的仍带有浓厚封建主义色彩的改良主义妇女教育现;也不同于资产阶级革命派借兴女学来培养妇女革命人才,以达到实现政治变革目的的妇女教育观。向警予提出了“准备改造社会的工具”的女子教育目标。为实现这一目标,提出了革新女子教育的理念,并指出要从思想观念、管理方式和课程内容三方面加以革新。同时站在稳固民主政治和妇女解放基础的高度,提出了“从平民教育中划分女子平民教育”的教育宗旨。
