| Abstract: | The Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee put forward and discussed proposals for formulating the 14th Five-Year Plan(2021-2025)for national economic and social development and the long-range objectives through the Year 2035.This is a national governance mode and measure with strong polit⁃ical overtones and strong sustainability.It is an important institutional arrangement reflecting the Party’s politi⁃cal leadership and ideological guidance in the field of national economic and social development.It is also the joint point and breakthrough point for the central government to guide local and local Party committees and gov⁃ernments to understand and grasp the overall situation,and is an effective way and an important carrier to guide the society and rally the morale of the people. |
