雄心勃勃:英国新海事战略评析

Ambitious:an Analysis of the UK’s New Maritime Strategy

The United Kingdom is a traditional maritime power that lives on the sea and thrives on the sea.At the beginning of 2019,in order to inherit the historical tradition of British marine development and better cope with the new changes brought about by the British plan to leave the European Union and the development of the world’s oceans,the British government introduced“Maritime 2050:Navigating the Future”.By analyzing the strategy,we can find that the key concerns in the UK maritime sector include:developing maritime trade,paying attention to maritime safety,attaching importance to marine environmental protection and climate change,and enhancing the discourse power in the international maritime industry.In this regard,the UK has set ambitious goals and launched a series of promotional measures,such as focusing on integrating domestic forces,improving infrastructure and technical support,and developing partnerships with other countries and international organizations.China should seriously consider the challenges foreseen in the UK’s maritime strategy,strengthen top-level design,support the development of marine technology,protect the marine environment and strengthen maritime cooperation to win the first opportunity for China to build a“maritime power”and“21st Century Maritime Silk Road”.
