海峡两岸关系未来发展的中华传统文化基础

今日海峡两岸关系问题,从某种意义上讲,是中华传统文化影响而生的中国式问题。按"和平统一、一国两制"构想,未来两岸关系发展,应是"求同存异"前提下互利合作不断加深。作为两岸"共同语言""共同兴趣爱好"的传统文化,正是未来两岸关系发展的坚实基础。传统文化在两岸关系中的这一重要角色作用,过去并未受到足够重视,没有发挥应有作用。文化上的"中国"或"中华"因素的充分适当运用,也许是推进未来两岸关系发展的最重要方略之一。

The Role of Traditional Chinese Culture in the Development of Cross-strait Relations

To some extent,the issue of cross-strait relations today is a problem with Chinese features arising from the influence of traditional Chinese culture.According to the principle of“peaceful reunification and one country,twosystems”,thecross-straitrelations that benefit mutually should continue to deepenunder the premise of“seeking common ground while shelving differences”.The traditional Chinese culture,acting as common language and common interests between the people across the strait,definitely lays a solid foundation for the developmentofcross-strait relationsin the future.This importantrole of traditional Chinesecul tureincross-strait relations has not been given enough attention in the past,and has not played its due role.The full and proper use of“China”or“Chinese people”elements may become one of the most important strategies to promote the development of cross-strait relations in the future.
