南沙海域石油开发与主权纷争

20世纪70年代,南沙海域因发现蕴藏有丰富的石油资源,周边国家即分别对南沙群岛的全部或部分声称拥有主权,并开始勘探那里的石油资源,使南沙群岛的主权纷争不断激化。本文对近年来南沙群岛周边国家在南沙海域的油气开发状况及由此引起的主权纷争,进行综合的论述,并对处理因石油开发而造成的主权纷争,我国提出“搁置争议、共同开发”的可行性问题进行了探讨。

Oil Exploitation in the Spratly Waters And the Sovereignty Disputes

In the 1970s, with the discovery of rich oil resources in the Spratly waters, countries around the Spratly Islands claimed respectively that they owned all or part of the sovereignty of the waters and then they started to explore the oil resources there, which has made the sovereignty disputes become more and more acute. This article expounds comprehensively the oil and gas exploration in the Spratly waters made by the countries around there and the sovereignty disputes thus aroused in recent years. It also discussed the feasibility of the statement put forward by China that "shelve the dispute issue and jointly develop". China raises the statement in order to deal with the sovereignty disputes caused by the oil exploration.
