破除城乡二元社会结构努力构建社会主义和谐社会

城乡二元社会结构是我国特有的、在特定时期形成的一种社会结构。在形成之初,这种社会结构发挥了一定的积极作用,但随着我国经济的发展与社会的进步,其弊端日益显现,而且这种弊端所带来的矛盾已经激化到非解决不可的地步,严重阻碍了社会主义和谐社会的构建。因此,必须彻底改变这种不适应社会发展要求的城乡二元社会结构,构建具有中国特色的城乡一体化的社会主义和谐社会。

Breaking Down the Dual Social Structure to Build a Harmonious Society

The dual social structure in urban and rural areas is specific to China,which took shape in a specific historical stage.At its beginning,this kind of social structure played some positive part.But with economic development and social progress,more and more defects of this social structure have manifested themselves,and the contradictions caused by the defects have been intensified to such a degree that they impede building a harmonious society of urban and rural integration with Chinese characteristics,and therefore,must be broken down.
