| Abstract: | Yangtze River Delta is the most powerful region with respect to the gross competitiveness of our country, which plays the strategic and leading role in the socialist modernization. Since the reform and opening up in our country, especially the opening and development of Pudong District, Shanghai has achieved tremendous economic accomplishments, having boosted the development of Yangtze River Delta and surrounding regions. Based on the on - spot investigation, this paper has analyzed the achievements gained and challenges faced by Shanghai when promoting regional cooperation, and explored the effective way for Shanghai to boost the integration in Yangtze River Delta. |
