| Abstract: | Currently coal tar epoxy is widely used as anti corrosion coating for underground pipelines in China.However,as new anti corrosion technology is developed and international standards are updated,this method seems not to be the best choice in anti corrosion practice.This paper thus summarizes the problems existed in the current anti corrosion coating method on the basis of experience and the standard in NACE RP 0169"Control of External Corrosion on Underground or Submerged Metallic Piping Systems". |
