| 摘 要： | <孟子·离娄下>"天下之言性也"一章对于理解孟子的人性论具有重要意义,但前人注解对此章一些重要概念和学理的理解颇有分歧.联系孟子完整的思想体系来分析,可以看出以"故"言性、"以利为本"都不代表孟子本人的思想.孟子并不认为人的善性是一个可以从现实人类已然的故常中归纳出来的"理",更不赞成把"利"看成是人性之本.孟子所谓人性善只是说人的心性中有此向善的趋向,对这一趋向既不可无所用心放任自流,也不可用智过度拔苗助长.
