On the Style of Remarking in the Poem and Prose of the North Sung Dynasty

Praise of the literary circles spanning between Sung Dynasty's Taizhong and Zhenzhong eras on the poem and prose of the Han Yu school that was flourishing in Mid-Tang Dynasty, had laid down a cultural basis among the officials of Renzhong era. In addition to the stimulation of the party conflicts in that historical period, it had helped to shape a circumstance of remarking which is characterized with a lofty, stern but rational and calm style. Sung poem formed its unique character of political culture thereafter.
