论马克思主义的本性及品格

以创新精神继承和发展马克思主义,一方面,必须深刻理解和真正把握马克思主义的本性及品格,即马克思主义是严整科学性、革命批判性、发展创新性有机统一的工人阶级立场的理论表现。另一方面,必须以彻底的科学态度正确对待马克思主义,即始终坚持从事实出发,而不是从原则出发;科学性与革命性融为一体;理论与实践有机结合;整个马克思主义理论体系的开放性、发展性与体现其居于精髓、灵魂地位的立场、观点、方法之稳定性相统一。

On the Nature and Character of Marxism

To inherit and develop Marxism with innovatory turn of mind, on the one hand, we must profoundly compre-hend and hold the nature and character of Marxism in word and deed. To wit, Marxism is a theoretic manifestation, an organic integration of rigid science, criticism in revolution and innovation in development, which represents the footing of working class. On the other hand, we must adopt a thoroughly scientific attitude to Marxism, namely, to proceed from actual situation instead of from principles and fundamentals, integrate its science and revolution, achieve organic combination of theory with practice, and consolidate the nature of openness and development in the whole theoretic system of Marxism and the stabiliza-tion of standpoint, viewpoint, and methods in kernel and soul position of such theoretic system.
