| 摘 要： | Behind Peking University and to the west of Tsinghua lies a huge area-over 300 hectares with a circumference of ten kilometres-now deserted. These are ruins of Yuan Ming Yuan, once the largest and an indescribably magnificent garden in 18th century Beijing.
