新世纪:青年应担当起科普的使命

公众理解科学是现代科普最鲜明的特征 ,也是时代发展的要求。青年是社会上最富有创造力的群体 ,肩负着继往开来的时代重任。面对新世纪的科普重任 ,青年要适应历史发展的趋势 ,在加强自身科技素养的同时 ,担当起让公众理解科学的历史使命。为此 ,青年在现代科普传播过程中 ,要从提高国民生活质量 ,解决国民的迫切需求出发 ,正确领会现代科普理念 ,将科普的重心从单纯的科学知识传播向以科学思想、科学方法和科学精神为内涵的全方位的科普传播转移 ,改变以往单向交流的传播方式 ,走向双向交流的互动形式 ,从而让科学真正走向公众 ,也让公众真正理解科学 ,并提升全体国民的科普素养。

The Youth Should Take Over the Task of Making Science Popular in the New Century

To make public know about science is the most important feature of modem popularization of science,as well as the request of developing times.The youth are the most creative groups in the society.Facing with the important task of making science popular,they should adjust themselves to the historical development and equip themselves with science and technology.They should make the public understand science.Therefore during this course,basing on the improvement of public's living standard and resolution of public's urgent need,the youth should correctly understand popularization of scientific.The emphasis should be changed,from the spread of scientfic knowledge,to the whole-way popularization of science,which consists of scientific idea,scientific methods,and scientific spirit.The single-way communication should be changed into two-way communication so that we can make science popular and fully understood,and improve quality of public.
