With China's successful entry into the WTO and due to the demands of transformation of government function and intense competition, China will face a bigger gap in human resources, especially in foreign trade, foreign languages, finance, environmental protection and negotiation. China must undergo a fruitful development of human resources as soon as possible, in this way China can be well prepared against various challenges brought about by the entry of the WTO .
