| 摘 要： | 英语新闻阅读是学习英语最有效的一种途径，其作用主要表现在以下四方面：（1）有助于英语学习者认清英语学习的目的；（2）有助于激发学习者学习英语的兴趣；（3）能够让学习者了解不同语言文化之间的差异；（4）对夯实英语学习者的英语基本功具有一定的引导作用。
