| Abstract: | In order to explore the relation between symptom-complex and cervical lymphadeneclasis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), 387 cases were separated into several groups and cervical lymphadeneclasis was examined and measured. The authors found that if cervical lymphadeneclasis was not detected, the rates of Fire-toxin syndrome and syndromes relating to blood stasis ( SRBS) were higher than other syndromes ( P<0.05 ). If thediameter of cervical lymphadeneclasis was less than 3cm,no significan tdiffe-reace was discovered among all syndromes,and if the diameter wsa more than 3cm,the rates of syndromes relating to phlegm was much higher than that of SRBS(P<0.01). Such results indicate that different condition of cervical lymphadeneclasis is associated with different syndromes. Therefore,we conclude that cervical lymphadeneclasis should be determined and used as one of the reference parameters of differentiation of NPC. |
