清代的缉捕术

有清一代，为将人犯快速、有效地缉拿归案，针对不同情形、不同目的采取不同的缉捕策略：为捕得真盗、搜得真赃，运用掩捕之术；对共同犯罪，“以盗捕盗”，从内部瓦解；为避免捕役之弊，舍捕役而“以民捕盗”；运用购线和悬赏的方式换取人犯的信息和臣民的协捕；允许因缉捕不力而承担责任的缉捕主体戴罪缉捕以调动其缉捕积极性。
