The Evolution of Trade and the Industrial Structure Adjustment in East Asian

This paper reviews the East Asian region＇ s economic development of change in the policy and its industrial structure adjustment since the 1950s.It shows that the East Asian regional trade changed from extraregional trade to intra-regional trade.In the course of the policy change in the East Asian region, industrial structure adjusted to adapt to the demands of economic development.East Asian regional trade from the traditional overreliance on foreign markets towards intra-regional trade,to a certain extent,rooted in the industrial structure adjustment.The East Asian region has created ＂East Asian miracle＂.Nevertheless,in the process of economic development,it still exist unreasonable industrial structure, the complementary of intra-regional trade is not high and the quality of the population is not high,which constrained economic development to a higher stage.So,in the future, East Asia needs to be more unity and strengthen of bilateral trade and economic cooperation in multiple fields.
