自然主义价值论的历程

价值论的自然主义主张从自然的角度来解释价值的本原,坚持价值与事实的统一,认为自然科学方法是探究哲学价值问题的唯一方法。自然主义价值论产生于19世纪末、20世纪初价值哲学向价值理论的转型。自然主义价值论是美国20世纪上半叶价值理论的主流,其代表人物主要是R.B.培里、杜威和S.C.佩佩尔等。

The Course of the Theory on the Value of Naturalism

The theory of the value of naturalism explains the origin of value from the angle of nature. It sticks to the integration of value and facts and holds that the natural scientific method is the only way to probe into the problem of philosophic value. This theory originated at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, when the value philosophy transferred into value theory. It' s the main flow of value theories appeared in the United States in the early years of the 20th century with R. B. Paily, Duway and S. C. Paper as its main representatives.
