认知心理学在国际关系研究中的应用:进步及其问题

心理学中认知革命的兴起,导致了心理学理论研究视角的转变,为认知心理学在国际关系研究中应用奠定了理论基础。基于对现实主义解释力的不满和认知革命的影响,在国际关系的一些问题领域,如国际危机、和平与冲突解决、谈判以及联盟政治等题域中认知心理学的理论与方法得到广泛运用。认知心理学的应用主要集中于外交决策分析领域,在其中,认知因素既是自变量,又是因变量。认知研究的兴起及其后社会认知研究的转向,符合科学哲学中科学研究进步性的标准,但认知研究仍存在一些有待于解决的问题。在中国国际关系理论研究和学科建设中,应加强对对外政策与国际关系的认知研究。

The Approach of Cognitive Psychology in IR Studies: Progress and Problems

The rise of cognitive aspect of evolution in Psychology makes a paradigm shift in psychology studies,and it also establishes the theoretical foundation for the application of cognitive psychology to IR studies.Basing on the dissatisfaction of realist paradigm and the influence of cognitive revolution,the applications of theories of cognitive psychology and methods to IR studies come forth in many issue areas,including international crisis,peace and conflict resolution,bargain and alliance politics,etc.The application of cognitive psychology mainly focuses on the field of foreign policy decision-making analysis,in which cognitiive factors are independent variables as well as dependent variables.According to the criteria of philosophy of science,the rise of cognitive studies and its turn of direction in social cognition are a progress in scientific research,both theoretical and empirical.But there have some problems yet to be resolved.Cognitive studies should play a fundamental role in the IR theoretical study and discipline construction within the Chinese context
