共产党员形象是党的形象的具体体现。在改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的新时期 ,共产党员应当具有先进战士形象、表率形象、楷模形象、实干家形象。用邓小平理论武装自己 ,坚定共产主义理想信念 ,是塑造党员形象的根本内容和途径 ;积极投身贯彻党的基本路线的实践 ,增强党性 ,是塑造党员形象的基本方法 ;各级党组织加强对党员的教育管理 ,是塑造党员形象的必要手段。

Thoughts on the Image and Cultivation of Communist Party Member at Present Period

The image of communist party member is the mirror of the image of party. In the new period of reform and opening to the world and socialist construction of modernization, communist party member should possess the image of advanced soldier, of example, of model, of man of action. The content and the path of cultivating the image of party member are the Deng Xiaoping's theories and the firm belief in communism.
