| Abstract: | The Japanese began to get naturalized in the United States in 1841. The Japanese-Americans like to live in a compact community and maintain some Japanese culture and way of life. There are quite a few Japanese-American communities in Los Angeles. However, with the changing American market and the quickened steps of Americanization of the Japanese-American youth, the cohesion of such Japanese-American communities is becoming weaker. |
