| Abstract: | The legal systems of different countries are different in the aspect of the nature and the methods of ascertainment of foreign laws. The foreign laws are not equivalent to the domestic laws, and not facts as well. The legal institution of "ex officio investigation" can be adopted with respect to the methods of ascertainment of foreign laws. |
