Russian Far East''''s Press in the Capitalist Period

In the capitalist period,Russian Far East's newspapers and books were the main mass media.The appearance and development of the press were not only good for the people to gain knowledge and widen a field of vision,also good for the other areas home and abroad furthered to understand the Far East.The Far East's press developed in the lead in the whole Russia at the end of 19th century and the early 20th century.The development of the press laid a technical foundation for publishing houses.The cities in the Far East were not second to the other cities of cultural centers in Russia in terms of the quantity of books in the early 20th century.The Far East's publications were extensive in content,except not a few of publications in foreign language.
