Globalization has undertaken three tidal periods and these three tidal periods also mark the three tidal periods of global democratization. How China responds to the tides of globalization and democratization becomes an important political theoretical subject to which the Chinese scholars should give priority in their study. The book "China's Democratic Construction under the Situation of Globalization" takes a view of the whole world that is under the tidal wave of democratization, takes China's actual situation in the initial period of socialism into consideration, and makes an all-round multi-leveled and wide-ranged investigation into China's democratic construction.
