A Probe on the Application of Psychological Operations to Deal with Hijacking Activities

The key of anti-hijacking action is to protect and rescue the hostages. In all aspects and each step of the whole process of anti-hijacking action,to ensure the safety of hostages from the beginning to the end of the action is always in the first place. In order to protect and rescue the hostages,the action plan and operation should be in the combination of being firm and flexible,patient and decisive,brave and alert,but not simple,reckless and foolhardy. The hijacking by itself is a psychological terror carried out by criminals（ terrorists） for achieving certain purpose. Therefore,the psychological contest with the criminals during the anti-hijacking action is always the most important factor to decide the effectiveness of the action.
