The Relationship between Singaporean People's Action Party and Congress and Its Revelation

The Congress and its Elections are indispensable for People＇s Action Party（PAP） of Singapore to keep prestige and vigor. In the parliamentary democratic system, PAP has to gain the legitimacy by winning congress elections, more importantly, keep connection with people by parliamentarism. At the same time, PAP manages to control congress and elections to maintain its preponderance in Singapore politics, so as to assure the social stability and economic development.
