At present,China has comparatively perfect social background,political background and international background.Form the view of the reduction and control of the death penalty;the legislation and the superior judicial authority have made many efforts during this period.There has made more progress in the reform of the death penalty both in the legislation and the judicial practice,but there still have a long way to go in the course of death penalty reform in China.
