At the dawn of a new century,the health of US economy is claiming worldwideconcern with its shock waves in mind.Will the nine-year old robust high-growth,low-inflation boom hold,with rich rewards for investors?Or rather,is abust just around the corner,with a stock crash,rising inflation,dollar devaluationand a sudden brake on the economic growth in store?The author should like to of-fer some of her views.
