Confucian Thoughts and Ritual System

This article mainly discusses the origin and orderization of the core of Confucianism in ancient China: li. And the Confucian School reached the ideology of ren(benevolence) for the reason of inquiring li in great details. After tracing to the source of Confucianism, the author believes that it is the origin of li as well as the establishment and deepening of the order rank represented by li that is the cornerstone which helps establish and improve the Confucianism. The author observes and studies the original relationship between the Confucianism and li principle by discussing the Confucian theory of order and peace, li and law in Confucianism, the ethical implications of "the infallible law of morals" held by Confucius.
