《文选旁证》与“文选学”

“文选学”的产生有着复杂的原因 ,其内涵应指萧选本文及后世的注解、研究以及对注解的研究。这一概念最早在曹宪时代提出 ,而李善注本的出现标志着其基本内涵的确定。梁章钜《文选旁证》不专主一家 ,旁搜广证 ,兼容并蓄 ,且有通达识见 ,引用书籍达一千三百余种 ,极为广博 ,集选学精华为一体 ,为选学“集大成”之作 ,既重版本校勘、注解的考证 ,也不忽视对萧选本文的读解、文章意旨的融会贯通 ,实乃读解萧选、上窥李善等诸家注精深义蕴之航梯也
